Not too long ago I would have balked at the idea of cooking for fun. It was messy, time-consuming and quite frankly, a mysterious craft in my mind. However, since then I've started experimenting a little. In an effort to save money in these hard times I have forced myself to get comfortable with preparing food.
At first it was hard. That first omelet, for instance, was a bland dud. But over time things started getting easier. I'm even making up my own recipes. And you know what? It's fun.
I created this blog to catalogue the recipes that I try--both simple and complex--and to talk about food and life in general. I hope you enjoy it!
